Founded as an education and service based cultural sorority, Chi Upsilon Sigma strives to promote a positive image of the community of color, particularly Latino/a’s.

We, the sisters’ of C.U.S., dedicate ourselves to the sorority’s goals of:

  Raising the political, educational, cultural and social consciousness of our community

  Community service

  Fostering an understanding and appreciation of the Latino culture, and maintaining the language binding the Latino people

“Educating, Elevating, and Empowering Since 1980”, “Women by Nature, Sisters by Choice”, “Women united by a Vision, Strengthened by Love, Friendship and a Mission”, these are but a few of the phrases that were coined over the years to describe our sorority, Corazones Unidos Siempre, Chi Upsilon Sigma National Latin Sorority, Inc.
